My earliest memories involve the arts. My vision has morphed from scattered projects, mostly assigned by life’s tasks or projects associated with school, shows and jobs to having more time to create my own work- something that is a growing process.
I was always a performer, a writer and loved to draw and paint- anything to express myself and maybe to escape reality.
An early, more confident and naïve version of myself knew I would be the next Warhol or Spielberg. My goals were sky-high and everything was attainable. This is a mindset I hope my students can retain longer than I did.
My students, and my own children, are the most wonderful people on earth! They inspire me and make me laugh daily.
